Automatic mode
The acoustic environment of the hearing instrument wearer is continually analyzed. A customized hearing program is generated seamlessly in real-time, tailored optimally to the respective sound environment. Optimum clarity and the highest level of comfort are guaranteed at all times.
Directional microphone technology
Two directional microphones in the sona:vogue ric and sona:vogue micro ensure optimum speech intelligibility in noise. They function at different quality levels (static, adaptive, adaptive in 16 channels) depending on the performance level.
Feedback phase canceler
Thanks to the dual architecture of this algorithm, a distinction can be made between feedback-like naturally occurring sounds and actual feedback. The actual feedback is continually suppressed using a phase inverted signal, and the sound quality of naturally occurring sounds remains excellent. The clients benefit from improved audibility and sound quality, free from annoying feedback.
Digital noise canceler
Noise signals that differ from speech are detected and canceled out. Since the algorithm works independently in all channels, noise is selectively canceled out without impacting the general hearing performance.
Data logging
The hearing instruments record the wearing period and inform the hearing care professional the next time a connection is established with sona:fit. As a result, during the next fitting session the hearing care professional obtains important information regarding the client's pattern of use, and can use it in the consultation.
Impulse sound limiter
Impulse noises are detected quickly and precisely, and are briefly limited regardless of maximum power output (MPO). As a result, unpleasant impulse noises (for example, the rattling of flatware) are attenuated without impacting speech clarity.
Reverberation canceler
This distortion management comes into play in situations where there are reverberations, making it comfortable when the hearing instrument wearer is in such sound environments.
Wind noise canceler
The wind noise canceler uses a wind identification and classification system. An adaptive algorithm automatically suppresses wind noise. As a result, hearing instrument wearers can once again enjoy outdoor activities without restrictions.

The world’s only upgradeable receiver-in-the-canal hearing instrument ideally complements the product offering of the sona:vogue family. It is compatible with standard and power xReceivers.
